Purpose of the TelethonThe holiday season is here. Most of us have exciting plans for the next few weeks as we will get together with families and friends over delicious feasts and get much needed rest and relaxation in our cozy, warm homes.
There are tens of millions who are not this fortunate. They live through the same season all year long, season of poverty, sickness and deprivation. They live one day at a time. Each day begins with one thought, how to provide for themselves and their families by tonight and each day ends with the thought about what will happen tomorrow.
Like every year millions of Americans will share the joys of the holiday season by generously donating towards charitable causes. Humanity First also needs your support during this holiday season. Please join us for our telethon and see for yourself how your support is changing lives.

Humanity First is registered in 43 countries across 6 continents, and has been working on human development projects and responding to disasters since 1994. These have included the earthquakes in Turkey, Pakistan, Japan and Iran, floods in Africa and Latin America, hurricanes (Katrina and Rita) , tornado's (Kansas) and wild fires (California) in the USA, Indonesia and Bangladesh, and conflicts in Eastern Europe.
Since its inception and IRS registration in 2004, Humanity First has been focused on spending most of the raised funds on direct program related expenses. As a result, more than 90% of its funds are in that expense category. This is achieved through dedicated volunteers in its management, and program operation teams.
