Pakistan Floods

From June to October 2022, Pakistan experienced a series of weather events that led to intense and sustained flooding throughout the summer season and into the fall. At the peak of the flooding, it was estimated that about 10% of the Pakistan’s land was underwater. The extreme flooding affected 33 million people, and destroyed more than two million homes.

Humanity First provided food, shelter, and medical care, distributing two million meals, handing out more than 70,000 chlorine pills, and providing 9,250 tents, mosquito nets, and care packs. Humanity First also treated 33,793 patients for essential medical needs.
